At this point, it should be no surprise to any of us that TERFs are going after masculine women, and it’s certainly no surprise that transphobic, misogynistic men are piping in with them.
Days ago, Stew Peters, a far-right online personality, tweeted an image of P!NK [who requires no introduction] with the caption, “Those aren’t child-bearing hips.”
P!NK, of course, quote tweeted the picture saying: “Oh, Stewie. Stewie, Stewie, Stewie. You’ve got too much free time. 🤡” A true P!NK response.
For some reason, the Misogyny disguised as Transphobia wasn’t acknowledged by the GC community – who really should’ve been the first to defend P!NK since they support “Family Values” and “Normal Women” – both of which P!NK is [she’s married to a man, with several children she did in fact bear…]
But, of course, there is no protection for non-transphobic women from Misogyny.
We appear to be back to the ’90s and early 00s – when a masculine woman was seen as trans and therefore less than human. Because, let’s face it, they don’t see us as human.
And for those who say misgendering – whether via pronouns, deadnaming, or saying that someone is only what they appear biologically – shouldn’t hurt you because they’re just words.
I can guarantee that you can be hurt by words; they can do far more damage to your mental health than you’re giving them credit for. And if you don’t believe that, I suspect you’re probably a firm believer that emotional and psychological abuse doesn’t count as abuse either.
TERFs and Transphobes aren’t just attacking Trans people. They’re now also attacking Bisexuals, Pansexuals, and Masculine Cis Women.
If you didn’t believe us before, maybe you’ll believe us now – there is a Genocide happening against trans people. This isn’t the only Genocide happening.
At least three active Genocides are occurring within the Western world. One against Trans people, another against Disabled people, and another against People of Colour.
They attack the smallest minority first before taking on a slightly bigger group, continuing to divide and conquer until they’ve eliminated all of us.
History is repeating itself. Don’t be the Bystander in Nazi Germany – be the Resistance.
