It’s Tax Refund season, and this is your reminder to do something nice for yourself with that refund. Things you could do, if you get £100:
- Change your monthly plan of a streaming service to a yearly – this saves you money in the long run and means you don’t have to worry about another bill. [Examples: Disney+: £79.99, Amazon Prime: £94.99]
- Buy something you know you want but also need – if you struggle with hoovering (like I do), why not get yourself a little robot? Lefant M210 Robot Vacuum is currently £99.98 [50% off RRP].
- Buy the food you’ve been craving – whether it’s a food shop or a takeaway, get that food!
There are many things you can do with tax refund money, and while the logical thing to do is to either: save it or pay standard bills with it, we need to remember that we’re not just billpayers. You deserve something to perk you up, so whether you decide to use the money to lessen a bill burden, cover a streaming service, or buy something you’ve wanted for ages… Please don’t feel guilty about it.
Support My Content
I’m a firm believer in free content – specifically when it comes to news. Everyone should have the ability to educate themselves without putting themselves in debt. That’s why my content on current events, experiences, and advocacy is free!
Though, hosting a website and producing content regularly costs time and money. So, if you like my work and want to support me, consider tipping me! You can pick a price; even £1 can help! This isn’t a reoccurring tip – this is a one-time-only cost!
