Lend a Hand – Part Three

For a detailed explanation of what Mild means – click here.

There’s one very important, unspoken rule in my friend group, which I’ve adhered to for years: never date inside the friend group.
They’ve all dated each other, so there’s an abundance of history among my peers. And the only way to avoid it, is to avoid being a part of it.
Sadly, choosing to remain uninvolved is much easier than trying not to catch feelings.

This story contains masturbation, blurred consent lines, and a caught scenario.

PART THREE

P.O.V: ISABELLE

What the hell have I done?

Avoiding Sven is my new pastime, which is difficult since there’s only one TV available to me, and it’s in the living room. I’ve not watched TV for almost a week – thank God for iPlayer.

“Good Morning,” Nikki sings as she barges into my bedroom with a plate of avocado toast. “It’s time for breakfast!”

I groan, sitting cross-legged in the middle of my bed. “Why are you so happy?”

“I get sex on demand and got breakfast money,” she purrs, handing me the plate.

Picking the toast up and taking a bite, it’s obvious it’s from the café down the street – they have the best avocado toast. “Does that make you a prostitute to your own fiance?”

Nikki stands at the foot of my bed, a questioning look on her face as she thinks. “I’m more than happy to be his whore…”

“Wow,” I scoff before taking another bite.

“So, why can I no longer get Isabelle updates from Sven?” She asks, perching on the edge of the bed.

I roll my eyes, placing the plate on the bed beside me and pausing my video on my tablet. “This isn’t Animal Crossing, there are no Isabelle updates.”

“You know what I mean…” She mutters. “Was I right?” Nikka asks.

Boy, was she right… “I made a mistake.”

“What happened?”

I watched him masturbate to a video of me, sucked him off, and then took extra shifts to avoid him. “I… erm…”

“Do I need to go ask him?” She exclaims, abruptly standing up and heading toward my bedroom door.

“No!”

Nikki stops, eyes wide. “Tell me – everything.”

“Holy hell,” she whispers, lying on my bed beside me. “I never knew you were such a babe…”

I frown. “The fuck is that supposed to mean?”

“Like… I didn’t realise you were so sexual,” Nikki explains. “Honestly, I just didn’t expect it. Though, I’m happy it’s happened. But explain again why you’re avoiding him?”

“Because if I acknowledge it, then it means it happened.”

Nikki slaps my arm. “It happened whether you acknowledge it or not, the only thing you’re doing is making him feel like he’s done something wrong…”

My heart sinks. “I didn’t mean to…”

“Take it from me, out of all the guys you could’ve fallen into bed with – he’s the good one.”

Yeah, he is.

~

Nikki leaves but doesn’t say goodbye to Sven – knowing he’s in his bedroom and not wanting to bother him. Apparently, he looked a little down when she arrived this morning.

Standing outside his bedroom door, I hear keys smashing – either working or playing a video game. I take a deep breath and knock loudly.

“Come in,” Sven shouts.

I slowly open the door and step in. His room is organised – clean, bed made, but with a messy desk. The smell of his cologne is mild as if it’s a constant scent of the room.

“How’s Isa?” He asks, continuing what he’s doing on his computer. I peer over his shoulder – seeing him typing a message to someone over social media.

“I’m fine,” I whisper.

He stops typing, hands hovering over his keyboard for a second, before reaching up to take his headphones off and turning his chair. “You’re okay?”

I nod, pressing my lips together as he stands up slowly.

“Isa…”

“I’m sorry for avoiding you, I didn’t know what to do.”

He steps closer, carefully wraps his arms around me and pulls me against him. “Next time, instead of avoiding me, consider talking to me so I can take care of you.”

I wrap my arms around Sven’s waist, hugging him tightly. “I will do that.”

“Now.” He pauses, pulling away slightly as he looks down at me. “Mind if I do something that should’ve happened… a few years ago?”

I pull back and nod.

Sven smiles, lifting his left hand to cup my face. He ducks down and softly presses his lips to mine. His lips are soft, damp, and slowly begin to taste like cherry due to my lip balm.

I move to stand on my tiptoes, kissing him back harder – eager to feel him.

I can feel him smile as he kisses me, appreciating the added contact as I press my chest against him. His tongue slips across my bottom lip as his right arm snakes around my waist, holding me tight.

My lips part, letting him in. His tongue grazes mine; the sensation earns him a soft moan. It’s been so long…

After a minute, we stop – breathing unevenly. “Stay with me while I work?” He whispers.

“Are you asking me to sit with you or be under your desk?” I joke, nudging his nose with mine.

Sven laughs, gives me a quick peck, and snuggles against my neck. Kissing my neck, he hums, “I know what that mouth can do, I won’t get anything done if you’re under my desk.” He pulls back and kisses my cheek.

I sigh, lean up and kiss his neck. “Fine, I’ll just sit next to you and talk about White House.

He chuckles as he releases me, steps back and pats the corner of the bed as he sits in his computer chair. “Please do, I need to know your theories for this week’s episode. It was so weird.”

I sit down, cross my legs and pull my phone out – bringing up my notepad app. “Where to start…”
