If you’re looking for a Co-Op video game that is heavily story based, with a fair amount of puzzles, It Takes Two is for you!
This game follows May and Cody, a couple with a daughter called Rose, who’ve fallen out of love due to an abundance of issues.
While sad, Rose accidentally makes a wish/spell which turns her parents into the clay and wooden dolls that she’d made.
Together, you need to go through puzzles and find solutions by each one of you having a different skill in the level.
When I bought the game for myself and my partner, I thought it might be a little cheesy. Honestly, it is. But overall it’s a beautiful game with amazing gameplay, fun puzzles, and some terrible parental moments.
If you’re looking for a bit of fun with your partner or just a friend, It Takes Two is perfect.
It’ll take you around 10-14 hours to complete unless you’re extra speedy.
Just remember to have tissues to hand because it’s full of tearful moments.
